About the Vipers

Lincoln-Way Vipers Baseball & Softball Academy is a youth and high school travel program serving athletes and families throughout the Lincoln-Way area and surrounding communities, including New Lenox, Manhattan, Mokena, Frankfort, Tinley Park, Joliet, Lockport, Orland Park, and beyond. Our program focuses on player development, competitive preparation, and creating an environment where athletes can continue to grow in the game.

Our Approach

We believe development starts with consistent training, strong fundamentals, and clear expectations. Our coaches and trainers work with players on the technical side of baseball and softball while also emphasizing effort, accountability, teamwork, and how to compete the right way.

Teams & Competition

The Vipers offer teams from 7U through 18U, with most teams competing in local games and tournaments along with select travel events throughout the year. This approach allows our athletes to face strong competition while keeping the experience manageable for players and families.

Private Training Facility

Our academy is supported by a 20,000-square-foot private training facility in the New Lenox area. The facility gives our players year-round access to training space, including retractable cages, turf areas, pitching tunnels, catching areas, video training rooms, a weight room, and additional resources designed to support player development.

Professional-Led Training

All Vipers teams receive professional-led training from coaches and staff who are current or former collegiate players, coaches, instructors, and former professional-level athletes. This gives our players access to experienced instruction across baseball, softball, strength, skill development, and position-specific training.

Mental Performance Training

In addition to physical and skill development, the Vipers also emphasize the mental side of the game. Our staff helps athletes work on focus, confidence, routine building, pressure management, and preparation strategies that translate to game situations.

Player Development

Whether a player is just beginning their travel career or preparing for high school and college opportunities, our goal is to provide the structure, instruction, and competitive environment needed to help them improve.
